Join our Junior Program tailored for campers aged 3 to 4!
Our Junior Program is tailored for young campers aged 3 to 4, focusing on nurturing their developmental milestones through fun, structured activities and group learning. This program is a perfect introduction to social engagement, communication, and physical coordination, setting the stage for their success in school and beyond.
AGE ELIGIBILITY: 3 to 4 years old
For many children, this is their first experience in a structured program away from home. We gently guide them to follow instructions, take turns, and feel confident in a group setting.
Through interactive group play and team-building activities, our program fosters cooperation, empathy, and communication—skills essential for making friends and adjusting to a school environment.
The program taps into each child's natural curiosity with activities that promote exploration, creativity, and problem-solving, inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
Our Junior Program includes exciting modules and activities that introduce campers to new interests, develop their physical and creative skills, and make each day a fresh adventure:
Here’s a glimpse into our daily schedule, designed to balance fun and learning with a variety of activities that stimulate both body and mind.
Time Of Day | Activities |
---|---|
7:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Early Care | During Early Care, campers will settle in and enjoy fun, supervised activities in the gym as they get ready for the day ahead. Our team will check in campers, help organize their belongings in designated homerooms, and engage them in gym games and activities until camp officially begins at 9:00 AM. |
9:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Block 1 | At 9:00 AM, the excitement begins! Juniors will go into their homerooms, where they connect with their counselors and friends for the day's adventures. On Mondays, the fun kicks off with icebreakers and team-building games to help everyone get to know each other while previewing the week’s exciting activities. For the rest of the week, Juniors will also experience structured classroom-style sessions designed to build motor skills, promote learning, and provide a sense of routine. These activities are facilitated in a classroom setting, where they can work on activities like building puzzles, learning through movement exercises, or practicing group-based games that encourage teamwork and coordination. |
10:15 AM – 10:30 AM: Snack | Refuel Time! Juniors take a quick break to hydrate, enjoy a snack, and apply sunscreen before returning to the day's activities! |
10:30 AM – 11:45 AM: Specific Training Area (STA) | This 75-minute block is all about exploration and trying new things! Each day, juniors get to choose what excites them the most, whether it's creating something artistic, experimenting with science, or playing a new sport. It's a time for them to discover new interests, build basic skills, and have fun with different hands-on experiences, making it one of the most exciting parts of their day! |
11:45 AM – 12:45 PM: Lunch & Choice Time | Juniors will enjoy lunch, whether they bring a meal from home or opt for our delicious hot lunch service. Afterward, they’ll have 30 minutes of Choice Time to relax, play, and engage in activities of their choice. For Juniors who need a break, optional nap time is available to recharge for the rest of the day, ensuring everyone is ready for the afternoon’s fun! |
12:45 PM – 2:00 PM: Block 2 | Juniors will explore fun yet educational projects such as arts and crafts, simple science experiments, and interactive learning games, all designed to spark creativity and curiosity. They’ll also have the chance to engage with exciting guest speakers, take part in skits, and try out hands-on activities like team challenges. This mix of structured and free-form activities ensures that juniors can build new skills, express themselves, and most importantly, have fun! |
2:00 PM – 3:15 PM: Block 3 | This block is full of surprises! Juniors will splash around with water balloon tosses, enjoy exciting relay races, or cool off on the Slip n' Slide. Other days, they might engage in sensory play, such as water play or sandbox fun, explore music and camp songs, or enjoy storytime with interactive books. Activities like these help build their motor skills, creativity, and social connections, all while ensuring they have a blast! |
3:15 PM – 3:30 PM: Smoothies and Second Snack | Time to recharge! Juniors enjoy refreshing smoothies and a second snack to refuel before wrapping up their day of fun-filled activities. |
3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Packing Up & Regular Pick-Up | Wrap-up time! As the day comes to a close, Juniors gather their belongings and share stories about their fun-filled day. When it’s time for pick-up, one of our management team members will greet you to ensure a smooth and safe check-out process. We’ll bring your camper to you with all their belongings, ready to share their favorite moments from the day. |

At Laurus Summer Camp, we are dedicated to providing an enriching, fun-filled environment where children can learn, grow, and create lifelong memories. But don’t just take our word for it—hear from real parents whose children have had incredible experiences with us!
As a mother of two, I was nervous about finding a camp that would suit both of my kids, who have very different interests. Laurus Summer Camp was a perfect fit! My eldest thrived in the leadership program, while my youngest loved the mix of sports and arts. They came home every day excited to share what they learned and couldn’t wait to go back the next day. The staff was wonderful and made both kids feel welcome and engaged.
My daughter absolutely loved her time at Laurus Summer Camp. She’s always been shy, but the camp environment really helped her come out of her shell. The combination of educational activities and fun games kept her excited every day, and she made friends that she’s still in touch with. I can't say enough good things about the staff—they truly care about the kids and their development.
We couldn’t have asked for a better camp experience, and the location on the West Island in Dollard-des-Ormeaux made everything so convenient for us. The facility is spacious, clean, and perfectly suited for all the fun activities the kids took part in. Our youngest had a blast with the arts and STEM programs. Laurus Summer Camp really exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely be returning next summer.
