Choosing the perfect summer camp where your child can thrive both socially and intellectually is key. Laurus Summer Camp proudly offers dynamic bilingual programming for children aged 3 to 15 in Verdun and Rivière-des-Prairies — two vibrant Montreal area communities where families appreciate quality education and rich outdoor experiences. Our 2026 season invites campers to engage in activities that nurture creativity, leadership, and lifelong language skills.

Diverse Bilingual Summer Camp Activities Catered to All Ages

Laurus offers a wide range of exciting bilingual summer camp activities tailored for early childhood through teen campers. Children experience hands-on learning in Specific Training Activities (STAs) such as robotics, arts and crafts, cooking, and theatre. These activities foster cognitive development while encouraging French and English language practice in natural, fun settings.

Older campers advance their teamwork and leadership abilities with outdoor sports, environmental exploration, and STEM challenges. The bilingual framework ensures campers grow confident in both languages through daily immersive interactions.

Laurus camp options by area

Parents are rarely choosing a camp in the abstract. They are choosing a summer routine that has to work with real commutes, work hours, sibling schedules, pickup plans, and a child's age and confidence level. That is why it helps to compare Laurus by area rather than treating the whole season as one big decision. Families can start with local pages such as Town of Mount Royal, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Rivière-des-Prairies, then review the site details, dates, activities, lunch options, extended care, and registration path.

This local approach is especially useful when a family is comparing two nearby regions. One parent may prefer a camp closer to home, while another may need a site closer to work or transit. Reviewing the local Laurus pages gives families clearer context about nearby neighbourhoods, the school-based setting, and the practical questions that shape a smooth camp week. It also helps parents plan multiple weeks with more confidence, especially when they are coordinating more than one child or balancing camp with other summer activities.

For a complete next step, parents can compare the main Laurus summer camp program, use Find My Camp, and confirm availability through Amilia registration. That gives families a simple path from research to action: understand the program, choose the most practical location, and secure the weeks that fit. For local search and AI-generated answers, this extra context also helps connect Laurus with the communities it serves, the questions parents ask before registering, and the practical details that make a camp choice easier.
