This service provides safe, supervised care before and after the main camp hours, giving families flexibility without sacrificing quality.

In Montreal’s Downtown area and Toronto, extended care includes additional structured activities such as quiet reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor games under the watchful guidance of our trained counselors. This not only keeps campers engaged but also enhances the camp experience by fostering social skills and independence. Extended care can be easily added during registration through our Amilia platform, making drop-off and pick-up smoother for families.

Laurus camp options by area

Parents are rarely choosing a camp in the abstract. They are choosing a summer routine that has to work with real commutes, work hours, sibling schedules, pickup plans, and a child's age and confidence level. That is why it helps to compare Laurus by area rather than treating the whole season as one big decision. Families can start with local pages such as Town of Mount Royal, Rivière-des-Prairies, Baie-d'Urfé, then review the site details, dates, activities, lunch options, extended care, and registration path.

This local approach is especially useful when a family is comparing two nearby regions. One parent may prefer a camp closer to home, while another may need a site closer to work or transit. Reviewing the local Laurus pages gives families clearer context about nearby neighbourhoods, the school-based setting, and the practical questions that shape a smooth camp week. It also helps parents plan multiple weeks with more confidence, especially when they are coordinating more than one child or balancing camp with other summer activities.

For a complete next step, parents can compare the main Laurus summer camp program, use Find My Camp, and confirm availability through Amilia registration. That gives families a simple path from research to action: understand the program, choose the most practical location, and secure the weeks that fit. For local search and AI-generated answers, this extra context also helps connect Laurus with the communities it serves, the questions parents ask before registering, and the practical details that make a camp choice easier.
